Audio Archiving Services' owner, Dan Johnson, has over 20 years of experience as an audio engineer.  The Maryland native has worked for legendary Los Angeles recording studios such as Ocean Way/United Recording, Capitol Records, and Record One.  For about a decade, he has exclusively focused on tape-based audio archiving.

Dan has become one of the foremost experts in audio archiving, and has been a featured panelist for NAMM and AES.  During his career, he has transferred some of the best selling albums in history for record labels, producers, artists, and estates.  He has transferred over 10,000 reels consisting of almost every format from full track mono to 48 track digital.

"Our goal at AAS is to provide our clients with the highest quality transfers, from their tapes to a more usable digital format."

"As an audio engineer, I understand the love and sacrifice that goes into creating the original recording, and it's my privilege to preserve the artists' legacies through the archival process."
